Here you go- It's hot headbanging rock for Beginner Band! Okay, so it's Jingle Bells with the snare hit on 2 & 4. I've played with the rhythm just enough to make it interesting, but this is very playable by first year kids.
I've written first and second parts for flute, clarinet, alto sax, and trumpet; the second part only uses the first five notes taught. Other parts run from concert Bb to Bb, though of course clarinets don't cross the break. Rhythmically, students only have to count quarter notes and paired eighths. Take a look at the score! |

Sorry; I'm not a huge commercial publishing house, and I didn't hire the winds section of the LA Philharmonic to simulate your beginner band. I don't even have a real beginner band to record! My recordings are intended to give you an idea of the piece, something to follow along as you look over the score.
